Hi,
I am glad this paper has come up.
I was wondering which printer you were using for this paper and the 308gsm weight.
I have just purchased the new Epson R1900 and hoping to use this paper. Can I or should I get the lighter weight?
  Thanks a bunch,
  Karen in Austin, TX

I'm thinking about getting a 1900 too, Karen, assuming it's at least
as good as the 1800, but I haven't any intelligence about how heavy a
paper it might take. I'm writing just to say that I hope you and
other early adopters of the 1900 will post a lot about your
experiences with it.

Thanks.

Hi Sam,
I will post. So far I have only used Epson Premium Luster. I have
epson's Water Color and canves to try. I'am a little nervous with the
350 gsm canvas. I see that DAS canvas is lighter and I want to try the
matte after I try the two I have. This 308 gsm Hahnemuhlle I want to
try too.
From what I understand this new ink is optimized for color/glossy, but
you are suppose to be able to do matte too.I sure hope so.
I have not had a lot of time to test it since I am planning for my
wedding which is May 3rd. Yes, and this is at age 60! Yep, they tell me
I am that age, but I sure do not feel it.

Thanks, Karen; I'm looking forward to seeing your posts.

Back in the day when my Epson desktop printers had only four
cartridges, I believe I printed routinely on sheets of 300 gsm paper
presented to the 900 and 1160 printer on top of a sheet of 364 gsm
Crane card stock - which I thought was too thick to feed. But one day
I inadvertently specified too many copies, and the printer took the
364 gsm sheet in and printed on it. But those were re-purposed office
printers. I'd be nervous about 350 gsm stock in the 1900 too. But I
expect someone has tried it on the 1800 or in Europe or Asia maybe
even on the 1900.

That's not all bad - let someone else do it! 8)

Good for you, Karen; enjoy the wedding and let the printing wait.

Congratulations on that, and best wishes with all your initiatives.

Hi,
I have to rush to work, but I wanted to say that the canvas I have is
listed as being able to work with the 1900. I suspect it will be
touchy though.
Have a great day!
Karen
