Pierre, It is unclear from your site just what this does. While it advertises amazing results, I don't see examples of alternative prints, process, etc. Why should we use this over just PS and curves, Nelsons' PDN, Burkholder, et la? Well, that is an excellent question. I am a programmer and i do not designed my web site very well I guess. I used Dan and mark's methods. The limitation of the 16 points photoshop curves is gone with my software. I generate 21 points although it could do more. The details are truely amazing. It is also simplier to use. I have a built-in wizard that can create a neg in no time without fuss. No lengthy manual to read. I have a built-in Black and white converter that I now use compared to any other plug-ins. It creates stunning B&W photos. It's a all-in-one package. Everything is included. You also have the possibility to load 3rd party photoshop plug-ins. You can add layers with different sizes on top of each others. I think if you are doing inkjet print, the B&W converter is worth a try. I spent hours programming and still do. Maybe I should spend more time making my web site more attractive. For $30 you also cannot beat the price and your conscience may be better if you are indeed using a illegal copy of Photoshop to do the same thing. Thanks for the feedback.

By any chance do you have a demo version of the software?? And your web site was not very helpful in explaining what the software does, the cost and what the specs are. Does it work with both Windows and Mac?? Thanks On Thu, Apr 24, 2008 at 12:55 PM, Le Globe Trotteur < unglobetrotteur@...> wrote: > Well, that is an excellent question. Oh, and I forgot to add that I implemented the zone systems From AA. You can select easily any zone from your B&W and adjust anything you want without altering the rest. Po

Hey Globe!! Don't worry too much about the web page. But there are some standards. You just have to pretend you are a buyer looking for the "value" . So you have to describe the value in detail - that's making a sale. Screen shots do help. good luck!! gar *********** REPLY SEPARATOR ***********

"if you are indeed using a illegal copy of Photoshop to do the same thing" . Not sure I like that implication! I am indeed not. My back account certainly spit out the required amount. : ) So you are say we can down load yours for free? : ) , I'll take one. If it is any good, you'll surely get $30 of promotion out of me : ) May be even my platinum students will hear of it before I show them how I do it, Dan or Mark. hehehehehehe Eric Eric Neilsen Photography 4101 Commerce Street Suite 9 Dallas, TX 75226 http://e.neilsen.home.att.net http://ericneilsenphotography.com Skype ejprinter _,_._,___ [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

I must admit that the B&W conversion filter is really good. I just tried your demo on a few sample images...and its built in image is pretty good. I agree, at least to the users of this forum....you should offer a few copies for publicity sake! --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Eric Neilsen" <e.neilsen2@...> wrote: > > "if you are indeed using a illegal copy of Photoshop to do the same thing" > > . > Not sure I like that implication! Thanks for the input...I am always updating, fixing bugs and adding more functions. I started wit Dan, then Mark. I now only use my software. But i'm biased. I do have a couple of beta tester. One is doing carbon and the other one ziatype. Yes I could give a copy for publicity. I know that the B&W converter alone is worth the money. I also have implemented the AA zone system that lets you selected and work on zones. I know this forum is for Digital Photo with inkjet printers. I posted my site only really for the B&W converter that should appeal to a few user. Sincerely,

ok,
i went to this site with an attempt to download the trial version. just how does one do this?
there aren't any directions, etc. you may say your website needs help, but i don't know how you expect people to test and then purchase your product when they can't even find directions.

Ann, I know the site is not user friendly, i'll work on it. It's free though. go here: http://www.pierreoliviertavernier.com/Joomla/index.php?option=com_weblinks&catid=13&Itemid=23 Scroll down and click on the word podnc. From the main page, click on the download button located on the left side bar. Then scroll down and you should see 2 categories: project repository and software. click on software. Scroll down and you see the registered version link and the podnc (trial) version link. Let me know if you still have difficulties. PO

That is only on the newer Macs and many will not load a Windows OS on them in fear of viruses, which are at this point a vary rare thing in the Mac OS. If it is no big deal to write code, make a Mac version, it is still a big part of the graphic industry (and perhaps growing). Jim, >With an Intel Mac you can put a copy of Windows on your HD and use >Boot Camp (supplied with OS 10.5 I believe) to boot your computer >into Windows Lets be a bit more specific than just using the brand 'Windows'. AFAIK, the Apple OS Leopard can use the Boot Camp provided to run the following 32bit Windows versions - XP SP2 and Vista. Bob Frost. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Goshorn" <jgoshorn@...>

I downloaded the demo of the program and it installed easily. Very aestheticlly pleasing style. The program looks interesting and has lots of features. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. One suggestion I would make: provide a full featured demo with an expiration date of, say, two months. That would give folks time (we're all very busy) to explore it and get comfortable with it. Again, thanks. -MK [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Thanks Michael for the feedback. I just released 5.03 that brings more features, more user friendly stuff like right-click mouse commands. I fixed a few bugs and i'm listening to users' suggestions. I have users in Europe asking for cm instead of inch. I did not even think about that. The thing is that the program is only part of the package. When people register, they get a manual and special files that have to be used with the software to help you create your digital negative. I'm not sure i want to release that into the public. Hours were spent creating them. I have a lot of things in my head i would like to add. The price will certainly go up if i do implement them but current registered users will always get free upgrade. Really appreciate your feedback. I do have a forum created and would like for people that are interrested to join it and talk about it there and not here. The only reason i posted the link here was for the built-in B&W converter that they may be of interest to this group. Sincerely,
