2008-04-26 by rigglord
I have followed Paul's workflow instructions, I believe to the letter using the 7 ink MIS workflow and the net result is no image is printed. Can someone point me to a thread or walk me through what I may be doing wrong? I am using the Entrada Rag Natural 300 5x7 to do the tests in. My current workflow as I understand it is thus, Black and white images scanned in with a rgb colorspace, adobe 1998. Image is converted to gray 8 bit and saved. Image reopened and converted to adobe rgb with adobe 1998 color space. Paul curves are loaded and I used UT&-2200-Photorag-Carbon-1.acv. Image almost goes completely CYAN Print screen is set to Color Management document profile Adobe rgb 1998 Color handle to Photoshop manages colors Printer profile is adobe rgb 1998 Epson dialog comes up Enchance Matte paper is picked Photo 0-1440 dpi is picked Size 5x7 Color management is ICM No Color adjustment is selected (just to save time, I have also tried with the color controls on, gamma at 1.8 and the with the color mode set at standard and adusted the Cyan and Magenta for neutral tones based on this article http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/UT-2200-Readme.htm) End result,,,, Nada, zip, nothing not even a faint image. Anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks for any help.
