UT-14 inkset for the 1400

UT-14 inkset for the 1400

MIS has the new UT-14 inkset on it's web site now at
http://www.inksupply.com/ut14_black_and_white.cfm

My write-up is at http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/UT14.pdf

It's a variable tone glossy or matte inkset for the 1400. With QTR it
prints 100% Eboni B&W very much like the 1800, though actually smoother.

So, this is a very flexible inkset for those who want a dedicated B&W
printer that can print cool to warm on all types of paper.

Paul,

Thanks again for achieving another very promising innovation in B&W
printing!. This setup is definitely a very good candidate if I have to
replace my UT3D/2100 setup.

One question is lingering in my mind though. Earlier you have discarded
blended inks for large format printers because of the color shifts over
time. If I recall correctly CIS setups for desktop printers where
included in that. So how is that likely to effect a UT-14 + CIS setup?

True.

I expect it to be affected. CISs should be used regularly and the
bottles should be agitated occasionally.
