Digital BW, The Print

Okay, I know squat about choosing, setting up, and using a CIS.  I have the good fortune of 
having two R2400s, and I can dedicate one to a CIS.  Which CIS?  Which RIP?  Which profiles?  
Please point me in the right direction so that I can have something else to obsess about.

I have a CIS from Jon Cone and recommend them highly.  Cone is, of 
course, a big deal b/w digital printer.
