ut14 inks from mis?

ut14 inks from mis?

Any observations / suggestions
after using this system on
both matte and glossy paper?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Working GREAT with MATTE or LUSTRE paper using Paul Roark's curves..I haven't been able to get good results using QTR as a "black only" workflow, but I think I must be doing something wrong..I'd like to see ICC profiles imbedded into the QTR plan other than Black Only, so I might be able to adjust the tonality (neutral to warm) using QTR.. which is a GREAT shareware program I used with my 1280 with UT-2 Inks..

My 2 cents

I am also interested in being able to use QTR with the 1400. I gather
that it should be possible for a user to generate the necessary
curves, using a spectrophotometer or a flatbed scanner. But, I have
to confess, that I am still a bit confused about exactly how this is
done and how the various files are related to one another. If someone
could outline the process or point me in the right direction, I would
be very grateful.

Thanks,
David
