Hi Bob Last time I did this it cost about $30 for postage to the UK. There is no point in paying for the faster postage they offer as your ink will most likely be stuck in customs for a couple of weeks. Customs also charge you an import tax like VAT. Plus there is also a charge to get the stuff out of customs (£10 I think). You can pick some stuff on the MIS website and find out the postage before you commit to buy, but you have to add customs charges yourself to get the final price. You may be lucky and avoid customs, but this has not happened to me recently. Nevertheless if you order a reasonable amount of ink it works out about the same or less than buying bulk ink from the UK in my experience (plus you have more choice). Last time I bought a pint of eboni black ink to mix my own carbon-6 inkset - this works out to be really cheap in the long run - it cost about £60 altogether as I recall. I also ordered a set of UT7 inks before that (4oz bottles) but this cost about £150, but it lasts a long time so it is still cheaper than buying cartridges. The only things I buy from the UK are the 2100 refillable cartridges from Marrutt which are about £5 each, but this is a one off expense. I have been using MIS for years and never had a problem with them. I thought of going with Jon Cone's Piezography system, but it is much more expensive and Paul Roark's carbon-6/eboni-6 inks are easy to make and probably similar in quality. Hope this helps. I have an Epson 1160 (4 color) and 1200 (6 color) that I got as spares for the original 4 ink Piezography system, as new in boxes, never loaded with pigment inks of any kind. Reliable workhorses with larger dot size than the later 1280, etc. Never needed because I got a 7000 for B&W. I am relocating and rather than drop them off at Goodwill, they are available to anyone on the list for the cost of shipping from Albuquerque NM 87107. Bruce
