Premier Alise in Inventory at InkjetMall

Premier Alise in Inventory at InkjetMall

2009-12-28 by piezobw

I just brought in the full inventory of Premier Alise BW. This paper is the bomb. It is every inch as good as the Hahnemuhle Photo Rag in terms of dMax, smoothness, look & feel. I look for this paper to be consistent in the ways that HPR has not. Smaller company - attentive.

I have been using it in my own studio, and can vouch for compatibility with my inks. The surface is really beautiful with both Piezography K7 and PiezoTone inks. The dMax is every bit as deep as HPR (when HPR is at its best and not bleeding.) I can't say enough how impressed I am with the Alise:

Hi Jon

I have just begun playing with the Alise Natural and BW, it seems great with a couple early messing around prints. My question: On a 2200 system using the K7 Split tone setup, which curve would you use? Any chance you are going to create/release an Alise curve?I was gonna create my own through QTR, but your stock curves simply look better than mine.
ThanksJohn E

Hi John,

We no longer have any working 2200 printers in house. We are not planning on getting out all the remaining printers and creating new Curves for any papers including my own branded papers.

We do offer customs which I believe will be significantly better than you can do on your own. We use our own profiling software which explains the difference between ours and yours.

best,

Jon

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
