Anyone aware of a double sided (8.5x11) paper that may be warmish but with ink tones heading toward neutral with Eboni. Clayton Jones' description of the Hawk Mountain Perigrine Smooth sounds perfect but double sided is critical, mid 200s g/sm would be ideal. OBAs are OK, acid free would be nice. Thanks in advance, Robert

Did you consider PremierArt Smooth BW? 205gsm, double sided, acid free, has OBAs, Eboni is quite neutral, not warm paper though, a little whiter then EEM.

Thanks, Marko, I looked at the PA Smooth BW, but Atlex lists it as 200 g/sm and single sided. Premier Art does so as well on one page of their website, then turns around and calls it 205 g/sm and double sided on their Fact Sheet. Seems Premier Imaging has caught the Epson bug for confusing renaming of their papers. I'll give them a call on Monday to find out what is actually shipping these days and what it is called. In the meantime if anyone else knows of a similar paper I'd love to hear about it. Thanks, again, Robert

Robert, I think I can give you a pretty solid answer to your question. In the Atlex description for this paper, it's listed as "C2S" which means coated two sides. But when I opened the box, there was a tag on top of the pile saying "print this side only". So I e-mailed Atlex and got an answer that it is indeed two-sided. That tag is something that Premier Art, for some reason, puts in all their packing. Talk about a mixed message! But I believe Atlex is correct, it is indeed 2 sided and I've been printing merrily on both sides with no discernible difference. I do that when I'm printing a draft, saves paper and $$$. Hope this helps... let us know you what you find out in your phone call. Regards, Paul --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "robert49brake" <robert49brake@...> wrote:

Red River Aurora Art is double sided and comes with or without OBAs and is acid free.
