A-113 Subharmonic Generator digital?

Hello!

The A-113 manual says it has four times
 digital frequency divider (rectangle outputs) with
2-digit display and up/down buttons for divisor adjustment
 rectangle/sawtooth converter (with single output)

That "digital frequency divider" catched my eye. I suppose there are no 
AD or DA converters present? No aliasing or "digitalness"?
