I have both Doepfer and AS in my 2 portable rack cabinets (which are VERY nice units BTW) and there is a spacing difference in the two manufacturers - it is equal to half the space between two screw holes in the rails. All this will result in is a gap between the set of AS modules and the Doepfer ones of half the space between two rail holes - not very much. I have to admit that I went to the effort of drilling new holes on my AS modules to compensate (I'm sorta anal about it though). As long as you keep the AS modules together there will only be the gap between them and the Doepfer modules (not between the AS modules themselves) -James On Sep 4, 2007, at 2:41 PM, funkycholrton wrote: > Hi > > I have a s6U ystem which is about half doepfer and the rest is > analogue systems and analogue solutions. at the moment I have it in a > homebrew wooden case with wooden rails. > > If I moved the whole thing into a doepfer suitcase would I have > trouble combining the other modules with Doepfer in the same row?
