i just happened to have an A-155 loop going when i read this post so i did a little test: i took one of the trigger outs on the A-155 to an A-140 ADSR, ran that into the A-101-9 Universal Vactrol mod (if you don't have one, get one), then i fed output to the Freq. jack i added to an A-145 LFO..works like a charm..i don't know if you are going to get drum machine style grooves or anything, but it messes up the timing pulse very nice!

what methods you use to let the 155 play in swing or with a variable 
pattern groove ?
for swing i found a clock synced triangle or saw down  lfo extremely 
usefull,
but i would like to archieve something more complex.
