Doepfer

As I await an announcement about the monster base cases, I'm wondering how one would go 
about flying on an airplane with one of these.  It's obviously too big for carry-on, but it's not 
a flight case so you couldn't check it directly -- I suppose one would have to pack it inside 
some larger box for checking? 

Maybe it would be shipped inside a box that can be reused for this purpose?

Or would anyone have a better idea?
