"1. If more than two VCOs are driven by the same source (e.g. A-190, A-170) a
CV buffer is recommended (A-185-1 or A-185-2). "
   
  Does this apply only to the bus connection?  Or does it apply to a combination of bus and jack connections as well?  In other words are there tuning issues when running one Oscillator from the A-190 off the bus and running another Oscillator from that A-190 that is not connected to the same bus but is connected by cable?
