imho it is very common that you get zipper noises when
you modulate the delay time of a digital delay.
i would not be surprised if the newer z5000 as well as the
forthcoming doepfer dsp module would still have aliasing
when the delay time is modulated. for me that is part of
the deal with all digital delay processors, at least those
which are affordable.
