hi mike, i concurrently agree with you on almost all of the points
you mention. the plus side to the motm is the way modules, functions
and layouts are discussed with its customers before they go to
production. that's what i was referring to and not the other stuff.

i read the posts you mention below, they do not endear me to motm. i
don't like the trashing everyone gets from motm. i just like the
fact, that at least there is some communication involved. with
doepfer you are always in the dark. this is the best market research
group doepfer could ever have and they constantly ignore certain
requests for info or upgrades that are desperately needed.

i am not an motm user and don't think i will buying any of their
products soon. i am not trying to influence doepfer customers to
switch their way. i just wish doepfer was a little more involved with
the group. i should have mentioned Synthesisers.Com as well. please
check out this group.

i am not trying to bring back the old stuff of the past, but instead
look to the future where Doepfer can be a little more open with its
customers and this group. it would be nice if doepfer did discuss
with the group on the polls and keep us in the loop. from the sounds
of mr. doepfer's email, maybe a legitimate poll from doepfer would be
the answer to their "problem child" . maybe a little market research
with this group will help in the design process to avoid
disappointments from all sides.

hope it is easier :)
RM
