A good question Gothicpunk. Do I need a second 161 to go with the proposed 160-2 or can I daisy chain off my existing 161 and have the even divisions on the 160 and odd on 160-2? This is something I was wondering about the proposed A-160-2. If this is made, will it work like a 160/161 combo? So like a 160-2/161 combo? I currently do not have the 160/161, however, plan on purchasing one in the near future, but is there the possibility to have these daisy chain in a manor such that you could have a 160/160-2/161. I figure that the current modules have their single link between each other and would require rework to account for another module, but perhaps the 160-2, aside from being stand alone, could possibly connect together? I'm not sure if I am explaining this well enough, so let me try an example. The 160 has clock in and reset, the 160-2 would also have clock an reset. Could there be a way to link the two together to essentially normal the clock in and resets so you could use them together? That way the internal connection from the 160 to 161 could go from the 160 to 160-2 to 161. If someone were to wish for only odd clock division, the 160-2 could stand alone with or without the 160 or 161. If this were the case, there would be no need for a module that did all clock divisions since half of them are already available. It would seem silly to remake what already exists for this purpose. Anyhow, I was just curious. --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com <mailto:Doepfer_a100%40yahoogroups.com> , "ysinollaysi" <ysinollaysi@...> wrote: > > The lack of the uneven divisions is the main reason that I don't have 160/161 combo. I _will_ buy A-160-2 (and 160 of course) if it's reasonably priced as I believe it will be. > > - t/A/M > This email was sent to you by Thomson Reuters, the global news and information company.
