Doepfer

Doepfer has a whole slew of modules available that other 
manufacturers produce - and just as much as every other maker 
has!  They are in the synth business afterall and because of this 
I would not find it wise for them to omit products from their 
offering because other people are doing it.  I would actually 
recommend they do it because of this, else be touted as a 
novelty module manufacturer as Blacet has been.

This issue recently came up in the Analog Heaven mail list and 
one of its members, who owns the largest modular company in 
the US pointed out that the vanilla modules that everyone else 
makes as well are what keeps him in business while most of 
his his more unique ones sell in very small numbers (some only 
about two per year).

I bet you ONLY reason Doepfer has not produced an analog VC 
delay is the main part needed to do so, the bucket brigade chip, 
is now obsolete and in very short supply worldwide.

If however they were able to do this, I hope to heck it can run fast 
enough so that it could be used as a flanger as well!
