Well Dieter is clearly on the case now anyway, but it looks to me 
that it will actually require removing *2* capacitors for each 
section (as well as C1,3,5,7,9 as Dieter mentions, C2,4,6,8,10 need 
to go too: i.e. to modify the top section, remove C1 & C2, and 
similarly for the others, as required.) But I'm sure we'll see the 
full details when they update the DIY page!

Another simple one not in his list: adding three switches to A-127 to 
switch each filter section between low-pass and band-pass.
