You wouldn't use it for an LFO because the CV input on the VCOs would be unattenuated. For that purpose you'd use multiples. The purpose of the 185 is to send gates to multiple EGs or a common unattenuated CV to a maximum, probably, of 2 VCOs, e.g. from a sequencer or keyboard. The affected modules need to be on the same row, or you'll need a little cable that connects the buses for two rows. --Chuck -----Original Message----- From: Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com [mailto:Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of Bryan E Cornell Sent: Tuesday, September 27, 2005 10:03 AM To: Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com Subject: [Doepfer_a100] A-185 I was looking around on the Doepfer site and I noticed the a185 Bus Access module. I'm not clear on what it does. If I send my Doepfer lfo to a bunch of different sources, will the signal somehow degrade? I have a Doepfer suitcase system and I'm always sending the cv's to a multiple and then off to other places in the Doepfer system and to my other racks of Blacet/Wiard modules. I haven't noticed that this is a problem, but I'm not always very scientific about analyzing my patches. As my modular grows will I need the a185? Thanks for any advice. Bryan
