I've been wondering about some of the claims made about Vactrols lately and it's starting to sound a bit 'mythical'. A vactrol is simply a resistor and cannot colour the sound of something going through it, I would imagine they would have less colour than just about any VCA out t

I remember this thread came up some years back. The Doepfer Low Pass Gate will get you something but it does behave slightly differently from the discontinued Plan B Low Pass gate and some of the other ones out there. In "Both" mode you still get a dampened sound with the vactrol

yes, if you want to control the A-110 from the LP keyboard, then you need to 'very-slightly' multiply the little phatty's keyboard cv output, via the A183-3 Amplifier module. Bakis ________________________________ From: Lars To: Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com Sent: Sunday, November

Hi! Does your ADSR module's LED flash on and off with each note? If not, it's a problem getting the gate signal to it. If it does flash, it's a problem getting its output to the VCA. Then it's a step closer to troubleshooting it... Although really you should use an A-131, not an
