Hello, I've been looking around for an A-164-1 for a while here in the USA. Can't seem to find one. Found one source in the UK but never heard back from them as far as shipping here. Is this module dis-continued? Would like to get one either new or in good used condition. Thanks.

add a a138 mixer and you have a nice 4 notes sequencer. if you want full featured sequencer go for the a155 though. for note sequencing you do not need the VCS, unless you want 16 steps. Bakis Sirros - Parallel Worlds / Interconnected / Memory Geist [Doepfer_a100] group owner www

in order to connect an AS module into a doepfer frame, you need a special cable which is available from analogue systems (Bob Williams) here: www.analoguesystems.com but, keep in mind that digital modules (like the rs290) need +5volts power which the a100 frame does not supply. y

Hola David, as per my previous post: yes, you can! What you need is a means of turning trigger signals into continuous voltage signals. A mixer will do nicely, and depending on the number of mixer input channels the A-160/168 combo will give you 8 different notes max. Thus: A-161

Hi David, of course you can mount ASys modules in a Doepfer frame. In Europe your best bet will probably be Schneider's Buero. Guckst Du hier: http://www.schneidersladen.de/en/category/en-products/en-modular-eurorack-misc I agree that the RS290 is a very cool product. Alternative

start simple, connect the output of one of the knob rows to the v/octave input of your VCO. from there you can patch the quantizer btwn the 2 for quantized notes. if you use the first row of knobs on the quantizer, you have 1v 2v or another output choice, 1v is one octave, 2v two
