As far as ins and outs go: you cannot really cause any damage by plugging things in "wrong". There is protection in all modern modular systems for the voltage levels found in these systems. Smoking modules are not big sellers! Of course, most useful results occur when you observe

Bare in mind Anthony that only the A-140,A-110 and A-111 will take the gate and cv from the bus provided byA-190. So far this is what I was able to hook up. I think it is possible to extract the bus signals (cv,gate)from your basic case but it requires some soldering,drilling etc
