in the a111/2 the morphing section is inside the cem3394 and
it's wiring cannot be changed, so it cannot be separated
from the rest of the vco.

i would like to have an a134 which is not ac-coupled
and which has no linear fade, but an equal-power-fade.
plan b is offering such a thing as a dual module,
it's the model 14.

best wishes

Waveform morpher as standalone module

2006-10-04 by Florian Anwander

Hi,

thinking about the A-111-2 it came to my mind, whether it would better
to split the functionality of the VCO and the morphing mixer.

Would you like a separate module, which can blend over betweeen two
signal sources (also with possible inverting of the signals)? Or is the
A-134 enough for you?

Ok, second time today, I have to reply to myself.

I received the info that the A-111-2 is designed around a special
integrated circuit which provides both functionalities in one chip, the
most parts of the VCO and all of the morpher. So it is senseless to
discuss, whether to split this into two modules.
