Doepfer

I've ordered 2048 stages BBD modules... but after more accurate reading I got a little 
confused...
in the audio examples in the Doepfer site... 2048 is used for Karplus appplication, but in 
the pdf file for using the BBD module... it says that 1024 is recommended for Karplus 
applications...
DOES THIS REALLY MATTER?

hello alexandre,

a 2048 stages bbd can also be used for karplus-strong-synthesis,
but a 1024 stages bbd is better for that task.
with a 2048 stages bbd you cannot play high pitched notes.
the shorter the bbd the higher the notes you can play.
