Hi Bakis,

I didn't pick up the mixer but I agree, the WVX & VCS are great modules,
looking forward to what Seth and Ken come up with next.

hello david,
i have these two bananalogue modules in my doepfer
racks and they are really great. i also have the 3P
bipolar mixer module from bananalogue.
best regards,
bakis.

is there an intellegent way to use modules like the 160, 161 and 149.2 without having an 8 channel CV mixer? I'm new to these modules and am struggling to find a way to integrate them into my system

in order to use these modules I would appreciate an 8 channel fixed level mixer (preferably with a built in slew generator on the ouput) - does anyone make such a thing?

Sorry for double post but I sent this mail under the wrong subject:

Lots of things. With the 149.2, any time you want some thing or
event to happen randomly. I often plug various 149.2 outputs into
different inputs on the A-154 sequencer controller to cause the
sequencer to randomly reset, go in reverse, change first and lasr
notes, etc. You could also scale the output and mix it with a CV
going to a VCO to cause it to transpose at random times, or to a VCF
to cause it to open more at random times.

It sounds like you are thinking of using 149.2 as a random 8 level
control voltage source, which is something I've never thought of.
Now that you've brought it up, I'll have to give it a try.

Hello

I use two 4 channels mixers... A138a and A138c... it somehow makes like a cheap 8 steps
sequencer... but it works... if you use the resets function from the A160 and A147 (as a
clock).. you can have quite some good fun... using the outputs from A149-2 to reset
also...

but I also sometimes thought about an 8 channels mixer... but then you have A155
sequencer already...

thing is with A149-2 you sometimes have few of them coming at the same time which I
dont find so great for using as sequencer... but WHY NOT OF COURSE... plug them into
two A138s...

All mixers A-138a/b/c can be expanded to 8/12/16... channel mixers very
easily. I could add a corrensponding remark to the DIY page if somebody is
interested (but most details are already available on the DIY page - exept
the corresponing solder points on the boards of A-138a/b/c).

Best wishes
