a188/2 stereo examples

a188/2 stereo examples

2006-12-11 by selfoscillate

hello all,

here are some stereo examples for the a188/2.
in the first example a sawtooth wave from an a110
is used as audio input. in the other two examples
a roland tr808 pattern is used as audio input.
the remaining patch is the same on all examples:
the 3328 stages output is patched to the feedback
input. on the right channel you hear the mixed outputs
of the stages 1726, 2790 and 3328.
on the left channel you hear the mixed and
inverted outputs of the stages 396, 662 and 1194.
a sinewave from an a147 is used for modulation of
the delay time. both mix knobs are set to fully
clockwise position. no other modules have been used,
also no clock filtering here.

1.
first you hear something like an industrial style sequence
(lfo frequency knob set to fully clockwise position).
then the lfo frequency is varied by hand during recording.
at the very end of the example both mix knobs are set to
fully counterclockwise position and you can hear the dry
signal from the a110.

2.
in the following two examples you hear a tr808 instead of
an a110 sawtooth. again the lfo frequency is varied
during recording. mix knobs are set to fully clockwise position.
