it was basically a digital effects processor in eurorack format, and i
think was a small-run expanded from the guy's own DIY design, now
discontinued. he had one other eurorack module AFAIR. the effects
processor was based on an all-in-one DSP chip, maybe based on its
valuation board. Might have been 16 fixed algorithms, but with that
its possible im getting confused with something else.

hello,
i didn`t see the module on ebay but it sounds like it might have been a
"voxglitch digital fx" module.
i have one and its very handy in my modular.
the person behind "voxglitch", if i recall correctly, was leaving the field
to go to engineering school and on to life. he apparently has never re-entered
the field. he was a gentleman in my one dealing with him and wherever he is,
i wish him well !
as to the module, he used a small, commercial digital fx board from a
company in asia and essentially made a "module" out of it. euro format, 12hp. it
has a mono input, level control w/overload led, stereo outputs, 2 switch
selected banks of 16 effects (total 32) and an endless-turn encoder for effects
selection from the chosen bank.
i missed out on getting them but he also produced "pulse pattern generator"
and "c.v. patern generator" modules. i know at least one person on our list
has these modules, perhaps he`d care to comment on them ?
best,
dave
