a-190 and a-155 (sync issue)

a-190 and a-155 (sync issue)

2008-02-26 by astroschnautzer

I have a small problem with syncing these two devices. all works perfect exept for one thing:
when I stop my sequencer (logic8) and start it again the a-155 does not start from tick 1 but
from tick 2, it resets itself to 1 but 9 times out of ten i sort of jumps over tick 1 and just
starts from 2 so it is one step before the main sequencer (logic)... Otherwise its completly in
sync only this weird thing happens...

That's a normal problem with sequencers - most of them reset to the
first step and then, first time a trigger arrives, go to step two. The
simple workaround is to drop the reset cable and manually advance the
sequencer to the last step when needed.

If the A-154 is used to control the A-155 the behaviour is different. For
the A-154 a reset signal "prepares" a reset to the step defined by the first
step setting of the A-154. But the advance to this step is triggered by the
rising edge of the next clock signal.
