I don't know if it's any help, but I unloaded a photo to the gallery
of the power supply of a G6 I got about 6 weeks ago. It's isn't the
best photo, but I think you can see how it is wired.

Regards,
Kevin

I've posted a second picture showing the other half of the power
supply (which should now be the last picture up there). The green
earth wire goes the case, and then to the power supply itself. I
think that should do it.

Regards,
Kevin

Help guys=)

2002-06-17 by Andreas Lindholm

I bought a new power supply and power switch from doepfer to plug in a few
extra modules that need extra juice. I figured it would be the same as in my
old doepfer rack but, no, they have changer power supply, can anyboy please
look at yours if you have a new one and inform me what wire goes where from
the on/off button to the powersupply since I just can't copy the old layout
which hade just one row of three connectors, one blue, one green and one
brown. Now I have one blue, one green and one black and a power supply with
two rows of of two pairs of connectors. The green cable is also split in
two, one connector and one ring.

A little help would be appreciated.

Some ugly ANSI art here to explain better perhaps

my old power supply looks like this.

st1 st2 st3
-*- -*- -*-
green brown blue

the new one looks

st2 st3
-*- -*-
-*- -*-

Ahh, found your picture Kevin, it was on the las page of course. It helps,
but on the yellow cable it seems that it is just connected to the case, is
it so? Is it just a screw in the case. Then the yellow disappears below on
your picture... where does the final lead end up?

Re: Counting pins

2002-06-17 by code_pig

Andreas,

There are 7 pins. Here's the color code from top to bottom:

1. Green to top bus board
2. Green to bottom bus board
-=Mounting screw=-
3. Black to top bus board
4. Black to bottom bus board
5. Green/yellow FROM power switch
-=Mounting screw=-
6. Red to top bus board
7. Red to top bus board

Sorry, I should have included this information in my past postings.

Regards,
Kevin

Okey, I see roughly where it should go now, can you (or anybody else) please
just count the pins and tell me what number it is on? Like first from the
bottom of the four in the middle ;)

Re: [Doepfer_a100] Re: Counting pins

2002-06-17 by Andreas Lindholm

Thanx a lot Kevin, but it seems that we have different versions after all. I
have 10 pins 3, 4 and 3. Does anybody else have that configuration too?
Please do tell where the green yellow from teh power switch should go. Now I
am guessing bottom or top of the for GND marked in the middle four, perhaps
it doesn't matter but I won't guess;)
