I know this guy. Not personal. But he sold me a tutorial of analog modular synthesis via internet. He cruises the world colleges to teach students about analog synthesis. I know also that he uses several Serge Panels to make experimental music. You can find him on the analog cottage website.
So yeah, he's a true expert.
