I have the A-154/A-155 sequencer and controller. It seems to me that something is off in the clock knob. Perhaps its just a logarithmic or exponential slope but until around 2pm on the knob, the increment to the clock proceeds very slowly. At that point, there is a huge jump and afterwards it moves very fast. This makes the combo very difficult for me to use as is. Any thoughts?

Alas, Christian says that it is currently an unsolved problem. Hmm… It’s early for me still, I haven’t had enough coffee and I am not near the unit. So an external clock will solve the problem and a A-160-5 will want the external clock anyway, correct? Do I run into any problem if I still have the A-154 connected to the A-155 but am clocking it with an external clock (4MS QCD for example) parsed through a A-160-5? that has been my experience. i always run my 154 from external clock, so have never encountered this particular "knob/timing" issue before. on those occasions when i'm running the 154 on its own clock i'm usually modulating the clock speed from an lfo or something else in some crazy way for experimental effects rather than trying to dial in a precise steady speed.
