Yes, I know there are some solutions from other manufacturers (eg. crazy so short 2hp sequencer)
BUT
as stubborn as it can sound I have decided to use ONLY Doepfer modules !

Yes Florian you are right, I mentioned that solution in my first message too, but still it is pretty large, 32hp, and really limited in terms of functions.

Hello,
I've now made a patch to create an 8 step sequence using :
A147 - as trigger source
A160-161
A138a x 2 - to patch in the 8 outputs from the A161
A150-8 - to switch from the first A138 and the second one.
The /4 output of the A160 is used to switch.
The output 1 of the A161 has to be patched in the input 3 of the first A138 (and so on, output 2 input 4, output 3 input 1 of the second A138) as otherwise the switching doesn't occur at the right position and the sequence is not totally played.
I guess it is a pretty simple patch but I was just wanting to add something to that post.
Still, it takes a lot of HP for such a very simple sequencer.
