I make a few modules, usually from PCB's supplied by Oakley Sound, EFM
etc.

On the panel side I strongly suggest members investigate a company that
Oakley use (as do a lot of MOTM format users).

http://www.schaeffer-apparatebau.de/

Schaeffer provide an excellent service. They supply you with a graphics
package (downloadable from their site) and a utility to work out cost
(so you can modify it if it's too expensive) and they will make the
panel, drilled, lettered to your spec (even one off's).

Highly recommended.

Have a look at www.oakleysound.co.uk to see finished examples/

I very much like the module Andreas put in the files section,
but it
still would be nice to have a simple dual attenuator/offset
module.
It'd be cheap to produce, and I know I'd get at least 4 of them.

As for the DIY section, I really like the DIY approach, and have

built a wide variety of vodoo boxes. The only problem is front
panels. They aren't cheap to have made professionally (and even

then there are consistency issues), and when one makes their own

	they generally look frightening.

I know before even continuing that this probably won't fly,
but...

Is there any chance that Doepfer would sell pre-punched (even
printed maybe?) front panels, jack sockets, PCB mounted pots,
and
knobs? That would allow any DIY'er to match a project's look
and
feel with their existing Doepfer modules?

	Just a thought.

	Kevin

David,

I am aware of Shaeffer, and they do very nice work indeed. That
said, I'm in the US these days, and the cost... you know where I'm
going with this, so never mind.

By the way, how do you like the EFM stuff compared with Oakley?

Regards,
Kevin
