The suggested mixer sounds cool. But even more combined modules since
if you have a small system a dual S & H is of little use while a S &
H combined with a Slew Limiter would be great. The Trigger Delay
could be housed with a VC Switch for trigger signals (i.e. trigger
version of A150). One low cost VCA could go with VC Switch for audio
signals
And those having use for 2 S & H can live with 2 slew
limiters as well

I would combine a low-cost VCA with the A140 for voltage control of
envelope intensity.

I'd also combine a low-cost vca (with dual signal inputs instead of
dual CV inputs) with half a trigger modifier to produce a 4HP logic
module (and, or, not).

I'd combine a two-channel mixer/attenuator with offset control, with
an A150 switch to produce a comparitor.

Here's one I've mentioned before - I'd add individual outputs to
the CV mixer to produce a quad VCA/attenuator/mixer. Oh yeah, throw in
offset voltages and a moving-coil voltmeter :-)

Module suggestions: AddOn-Mixer / Combi-Modules

2003-04-02 by Florian Anwander

Hi everybody,

I have two suggestions regarding new modules:

The first is an addon-Mixer for filters and similar modules: If I want to
mix several CV _AND_ several Audio-Signals for one Filter, I need two
Modules. But usually I do not need all four inputs of a mixer. So my new
mixer consists of a three channel audio mixer and a two channel dc-mixer
for control voltages with an additional 1:1-feedthrough for the CV-Bus, and
finally a row of three Multiples to get additional outputs:

 o-POTI-+ /----o  -> to Audio-In
   log | |
 o-POTI-+-/
   log  |   /--o  -> to CV1-In
 o-POTI-+ |
   log | o
            | |
 o-POTI-+---/ o Multiples
   lin | |
 o-POTI-+ o
   lin |
        ^
    from CV-Bus

The other idea is, that I do not need double modules like the A170 or the
A162, or A175, A150, A148, A130. So the suggestion would be to produce
combined modules, that provide different functions. Especially for smaller
(3HE) systems it is annoying that you waste space with seldom used
functions.

Any oppinions?
