If it is to be a module, 3U is my preference as my A100 modules are
mounted in wooden cases.
 
Having said that, if it's to be rack mounted, ala Regelwerk, then height
size is no issue.
 
If 19" then like the Regelwerk sloping so it can be desk mounted with
ease.
