I have a tx7 and it appears that there's no global transpose; only a fine tuning (detune). In fact DX7 transpose is 'per program' instead of global...so...if you want to attack it on the yamaha end there are two ways. 1) Borrow a dx7, load your programs onto it and transpose each one to taste; then dump them back to the tx. 2) Download/acquire a dx7 software editor and swap the progs back and forth with the computer instead of a dx. Either way the transpose function is expressed sorta backwards from most other synths....Middle C = ? Good luck!
