While you are waiting for Michael to reply........

Sounds like you are a pretty talented synthesist there Ricci from California. I am into a different musical era myself. Anyway, I was curious based on my own experiences with licensing - for the cover material you are selling and distributing to other bands do you secure a Mechanical License or a Digital License? Sometimes that licensing stuff can get a little confusing based on how the covered songs are being used and distributed as you know.

And by the way, welcome to the Ensoniq Group,

SwompRabbit

PS.........With regard to your question about fuses, wrapping fuses with foil is a technique sometimes used as way of circumventing the purpose of the fuses. Either someone was too lazy to go out and purchase new fuses to replace the blown ones or there is something possibly wrong with the equipment causing the fuses to blow. A fuse wrapped in foil changes a circuit from a "fuse protected" circuit to a "hard-wired" circuit. I would strongly suggest replacing the foil-wrapped fuses with the proper size and type fuses. Disregarding the purpose and function of the fuses could lead to serious equipment damage or something worse.

Hello Michael, my name is Ricci from California, brnad new to this
group and I couldn't help but to notice your question. The 80's are
probably my favorite time for music and yes I have a pretty extensive
library of SD-1 created covers. The quality of my sequences are
close to picture perfect to the original tunes..(yea, Im a bad-
ass..haha!), just kidding. No offense or anything but I wouldnt mind
hearing a sample of your work and vise verse but to tell you the
truth I usually charge for any sequences I have produced usually
because the people that buy the songs are using them in a live band
situation at their gigs. I think thats only fair..But on the other
hand I have no problem letting you hear what ive got you hearing your
sequencing talents as well. Let me know how we do this..thank you
