making a case is not a problem take it to link51
they make a injection mould from old case and produce new ones
ive done this with various plastic parts for
engineering jobs that are not produced any more to keep
but as i use floppy disks never really had the use
for cartriges and now the floppy emulator can read and write edm files ill be
going with that next

I'll bet there are some people here who would be willing to sell a VFX ROM cartridge soyou could convert it to an EEPROM. I remember Ensoniq dealers would give those ROMcartridges away for free just so they could get you into their store to give you their salespitch for the latest gear they were trying to sell.Making it from scratch ~ it would not be hard to make the circuit board (as it a dual sidedboard, and not a multi-layer board); but, how could you possibly make the plastic case?
