Hi Rob, I've seen JB's project evolution and prototypes. I can tell you he made great progress during the first half of this year. Since then, they had their second child birth and also they will move house soon... So all the projects are in standby for a few months. But don't worry, the ExtOdy will exist, as JB really needs it for his IIx ! Regarding the "Cult Sampler" product, it looks like a software sampler delivered with a library of sounds coming from famous machines... There's nothing new here. 10 years ago, we already had CDs of Fairlight samples available for Akai samplers... And it never made the Akai sounds like a Fairlight. I don't see why a PC could do it today. These "virtual instruments" and "virtual studio" software have a really poor sound quality result. We did use Cubase VST recording and treatment functionality on a project with some friends... I'll never do it again !!! It's good enough for creation and composition, but when it comes to the project itself, nothing can compete with the real hardware. Stay tuned. Laurent.
