Im just guessing that the keyboard was a jx8p, because the jx10 was released later than the slave to the rhythm single, as far as I can tell. Of course, I suppose the sound could have been made on almost any analgue poly of the era ;) I think the the same sound was used on the Pleasurefix remix of the Pleasuredome single, under the narration, but again, I dont know for sure, and It a bit off topic so ill leave it there. Looking forward to the DVD ! --- In Fairlight-CMI@yahoogroups.com, "Chris Strellis" <synthasy2000@y...> wrote: > > Greetings Ladies (?) and Gentlemen, > > > --- In Fairlight-CMI@yahoogroups.com, "Eight to Infinity (Arron)" > <arron@8...> wrote: > > > > I think the synclavier was used on later ZTT albums, such as > Laughter > > tears and Rage, by ACT, and on Liverpool by frankie. > > Thanks for a very nice segway Arron ;) > > I have made a DVD containing Steve Lipson's Synclavier being used to > produce ACT and the song "Snobbery and Decay". > > I'll put the link in a separate email to this group. > > > > I dont know what the synclaviers' native sound is like, never > having > > used one, but id bet if they had one, there's sync on the album > two, > > as well as the JX-8p which is all over the grace jones ZTT stuff, > and > > the extended version of PLeasureDome 12 inch. > > I was lead to believe it was the JX-10 - which I have.
