RE: [Fairlight-CMI] Fairlight Serial numbers

2005-08-03 by Peter Connelly (Core Design Ltd.)

Speaking of Fairlight Serial numbers and the original owners, did anyone ever supply this list? I know it's been mentioned many a time and I recall Peter Wielk saying he had all the original purchase details 9not sure if this was just for the SIII), but did we ever receive it?

Cheers,
Peter

Most likely they are manufactured on january 5 1980 and february 10 1980.
There must be quite a few, more than 50.

Black sounds like a refurbished (repainted) one.
Tan sounds about right for a series I, II and IIx keyboard.

They can all be used for I,II and IIx. They are more or less identical.

I would presume more than 50 are still around.

Harald.
