Whats wrong with your EIII?????
---the Fairlight III never ever broke down and
worked straight out of the box
The EIII with the 8meg memory option cost NZ

One of my all time favs besides the IIx. Maybe some Sequential folks
started working for E-mu then!!! The Studio 440 is the MG of the
sampler world. (No offense to MG owners..I'm fixing a friends) The
EII is my least favorite of the older E-mu's. I prefer the Emax I.
I'm still betting it's Fairlight on that Depeche track!:-)

a fact--The EIII was rushed to market too early and not a single
EIII that left EMU ever worked 100%.

been bad memory chips, faulty keyboard, switchs not working
intermittly on front panel!!!!
