Hi James,
I've converted many (more than 200) IIx sounds on my CMI III a while
ago.
It's quite a long task as the program converts only one voice file per
run.
I had to write some scripts to speed up the process. But it was still
long...
Then, once the file is in the CMI III format, you have only the
waveform with
all parameters to default values... So you need to work on the sound to
have it sound right. But at the end, I don't think it will sound like
the IIx...
If you want you CMI III play sounds of IIx, maybe the best way would be
to
sample the IIx... But maybe people here have made more experiment on
that topic and I may have missed something....
