Re: Lightpen for IIx?

2006-01-28 by dave_boland

Tony,

Funny enough it looks like mine has the touch part working, but the
hit is not firing. I disconnected it, twiddled the wires and
reconnected it firmly and it worked for about 30 seconds, but now is
the same. So I am assuming that it isn't critically broken, but I do
like the idea of being about to replace it ( and the monitor ) and
only use the 'real' one for special occasions... ;)

Are you repairing yours yourself or do you know a convenient tech who
can do this? If it's just bad connections then I have a mate could
help me circuit trace and fix it. I haven't pushed too hard on this
as I'm still finding my way without a manuel.

Cheers

Dave

getting it repaired. The hit part is working but the touch bit
isn't. Do you know what's wrong with yours because if you still have
all the bits it may be repairable. If I can help let me know.
