I listened to the show, it was quite nostalgic and interesting. He does discuss a bit of his technique and equipment at the time. However, he doesn't even cover the Synclavier at all, nor the PPG, nor the Linn, all of which were huge tools in his studio in that era. Actually, Steve Levine the co-host talks more tech than Trevor does. Steve's a veteran producer of OMD and Culture Club, and sounds like he really knows his stuff. It was interesting to hear Gary Langan's & Andy Richard's comments on some sessions. I heard about the BBC show from the matrixsynth site. by the way, there's been some great old Fairlight CMI II videos posted on youtube. do a search on youtube for Fairlight and see the old Page R demo video, that's neat. cheers, David --- In Fairlight-CMI@yahoogroups.com, "john945277" <john.hopkins2@...> wrote: > > Hi guys great radio show for you Lots about the Fairlight etc. > > THE RECORD PRODUCERS: TREVOR HORN > > Monday 17 April > 19:00-20:00 > The first in a series of one-off special programmes exploring the work > of legendary record producers.
