It is "an exceedingly fantastic sound card", which does not use DSPs but provides: 230 Channel paths; each with eight bands of EQ, 3 stage dynamics processing, 12 Auxiliary sends and up-to 72 user definable mix busses: all from a single PCIe card. There is considerable detail available on the Fairlight.au website, look under Hot Links on the homepage and click on Download CC-1 White Paper. Sorry for the ignorance, although it sounds intriguing, I'm not 100% sure what this is. I checked out Fairlight's website, but there's very little information... What an amazing revelation into what the future holds. Myself. I'm getting rid of everything I own, to posess this new and wonderful system. DSP is really gonna become a thing of the past. At last the boys at fairlight will conquer the digi-design, that is slow tools, strangle hold on what is industry standard. The guys did good. AMAZING!
