Just wondered what the flatcable and black box is
doing there. So I asked.
This is the answer: "Its the MIDIbox , flatcable is
the midi connection to the
IIX , orginal retrofitted by Fairlight ."
IIX , orginal retrofitted by Fairlight ."
Now I own a IIx and as far as I know, the "x" has
MIDI fitted, on the backside of the mainframe.......
So, this is not a "real" IIx.
There is no pen I think, I asked but got no answer
on that.....
However, it's still worth buying it, if you want
one, the IIx is pretty rare nowadays.
I read that it's hard to get a lightpen.
(Impossible?). Is it not possible to build some?
Cheers,
Peter.
