Fairlight-CMI

There was more than one differences between the II and the IIx. It was
not only midi. There was a mod/s on the Audio cards and on the later
ones they had a slightly different card lay-out when sold. The card
had REV upgrades and a few other minors within the mainframe. Actually
you could buy a IIx without MIDI and there was a few sold that
way.(COST) I was told this by someone who worked in Fairlight from
1981-1986 so he sould know. 90% of people think it was just MIDI now
90% of us now know different.
