Dear Brian, Thanks for your detailed description of all possible drives. It seems that I would have another problem once I find the HD: to format it :-) I thought that would be possible straight away but from reading your email it is clear that it won't be the case. Apart from upgrading to the latest Rev 9.X I'm basically stuck with streaming tapes :-( Unfortunately I can't stretch to get the sum to pay for the upgrade to the latest specs.
